So we have come to the beginning of the end. Eyes turn to the dark continent and fail to observe the black shadow of death sweeping in behind them. I am not surprised at this, to be completely honest. I am a warrior. A soldier. I have my orders. And to a soldier, orders may as well be the Will of God. A shadow fit to snuff the light from S.T.A.R.S. How perfectly fitting.

The offshore oil rig operation hadn't gone as planned. Well, it had, but not exactly as HUNK would have liked it to. He should have counted on Redfield and the STARS showing up. And he had, really.

What bothered him was how improperly trained the soldiers with him were. Without HUNK there, they would have blown the entire operation. Luckily, he managed to get them out of there before that happened. Not that he gave a shit about them or their safety personally, but they had cost Umbrella alot of money to train to the point they were.

So here he stands, arms crossed, and watches his troops limp back to the barracks after a solid 20 hours of combat and assault training. In another 3 hours, they would be doing it again. HUNK didn't plan on having another FUBAR'd op like the last one.

The Umbrella Gambit

Devil's Tower, Wyoming

Agent HUNK paces back and forth on the flat rocky top of the plateau, the crunch of his treaded combat boots breaking the stillness of the night. After Jill's last response, he closes the screen on his laptop and latches it, then places it back into its nylon carrying case hooked on his side.

Devil's Tower they called this place. In Kiowa Indian mythology it was said that once upon a time, seven little girls were playing in the woods far from home when they came upon some bears that chased after them. They found refuge on a great rock that rose into the sky with them on it, making them into stars. The bears tried to pursue them, but all their efforts were in vain. To this day, long "claw marks" can still be seen in its sides.

HUNK wasn't much for legend, but one thing was for certain, this area was tactically sound. The tower itself was surrounded by open ground, making it easy to pick out any attempts at surveillance or to sneak an ambush in. The height of the tower (some 1,267 feet) offered protection from sniping attempts, and the only way to the top short of climbing was via helicopter or PINpoint.

Chris is currently sitting on his backside 5 feet away from HUNK. He is handcuffed in the front, and a cigarette is in the corner of his mouth. He's dressed in a simple white t-shirt and black cargo pants. The usual white bandages cover his missing eye and the top half of his head.

With a final glance at his watch, HUNK double-checks his weapons and the remote control on his belt. If things went FUBAR, there was always Plan B. In this line of work, it was a must.

He resumes his careful pacing, keeping an eye out for any signs of foul play.

"N.W.O."-Ministry:
I think this song is very fitting for Umbrella and Team Evil. It talks about starting a new world order, and the repetitive drum beat and siren sounds give it that apocalyptictip feel. Metal/Industrial.

"Meaning of Life"-Disturbed: Okay, so I mostly just chose this song because it has a badass bassline and drumwork. The song has a good beat to go along with a fight scene. Get, get, get, get, get psycho! Metal.

"Reload"-Rob Zombie: This is another good song for fight scenes. Fast paced, cool vocal effects. Metal/Industrial.

There has been an information leak. An agent of the U.S. government, the same one who was involved in the incident at raccoon City, managed to elude me and make off with sensitive Umbrella information.

I am focusing all attention on retriveing this information and silencing her. I'm not sure how long this line will be secure, so reports will be short.

In addition, contact was lost with the Panama facility. Claire Redfield was sighted near the area. She needs to be dealt with.

I have just touched down in Washington, D.C. The target is currently on business in New York, but will be returning after the weekend. I've made arrangements to stay nearby his office.

Also, it should be noted we've raised quite a few red flags. My contact at the FBI has informed me that someone has become very interested in certain...matters as of late. I'm going to do a little more investigating and try to determine exactly who this is.

Last transmission from the HCF squad in Salzburg stated everything is in the green. Pods and specimens secure. Need advice on storage of "Mako". Is it a biohazard? Explosive? I need to know in order to secure it properly.

Will keep you informed.

Sir,

The pods and specimens have been delivered without incident to the facility in Salzburg. I personally made the tranfer to Lead Researcher Royce Jenner, and he has secured everything. The site is still secure, and everything is running at optimum efficiency.

I have a lock on FBI Agent Hamilton. Standing by to eliminate him on your orders. Along with being Redfield's ally and a useful cover identity, he is also a risk. From what I uncovered in Redfield's computer files, it seems information has been leaked to Hamilton by Redfield regarding Umbrella. As such, he is a threat.

Also of note, we have lost contact with several facilities. Paris, Sydney, Dallas, and Tokyo among them. There is something you'll be very interested in. Surveillance footage from a few of the facilities has helped us determine who the culprit is. I've included a still from the footage gathered in Dallas below.

Leon Kennedy and a crew of rebels are gearing up for a counter-offensive.

Be sure when using your personal transportation devices that frequency jamming is in place as to prevent being followed.

Kennedy believes he's going to rescue Subject #13. Suggest a suitable show of force and begin attacking civilian targets until he backs down. Also, we have plenty of damaging evidence against him and several others we could bring to the fore and take him down legally.

Sir,

Two issues to report.

1) Security in Savannah has been compromised. I engaged Jill Valentine, former STARS, while performing recon in Brooklyn, NY. She escaped and made it to Savannah, where she killed 5 of our operatives and injured 6. Also, it appears she rescued Rebecca Chambers, as there has been no report of outbreak in the city. I have gleaned some information from Redfield's computer and record files. I will deliver these in person, as I am unsure as to how secure this line is.

2) I have initiated contact with an alien organism. Subject appears to be intelligent. Her motivations are unclear, but I came to understand she is in league with Rebecca Chambers, and thus, the Redfields. If sufficient manipulation is applied, subject could be used as an ally against her knowledge. Recommend not hiring her in directly as a mercenary, but perhaps subterfuge would be appropriate. Point of note: This the the same creature that destroyed the Neptune at the second Spencer Mansion.
